This was my first time having dinner at this restaurant. We held a family dinner for a private event in one of their rooms, VIP room 2 which can host 2-3 tables. This was a prearranged room that we had booked about two months in advance. I must say the food exceeded our expectations while the service was excellent. A big thank you to the staff who served us in the room — they were professional and very patient with all our requests. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for those looking for a venue to host events.

Really nice place to dine with family. Table placements are nicely spaced out. Restaurant is not noisy. Pleasurable too dine here. Parking is adequate within the vicinity. The food and ingredients used are great. Taste authentic. The attentiveness of the wait staff also good. We had a very good experience dining here every single time we come with family.
Im a little surprised by its rating, since i think it deserves >4.5 stars. Every dish we’ve tried is decent. The only dish we werent a fan of was the steamed kampung chicken, but that was because there were too many bones for our liking. Service was also super attentive. We had a few custom requests and the waiters were very kind to accommodate them all. Prices are reasonable. This is our favourite Chinese restaurant when we visit Melaka.

I attended my friend's wedding lunch at restaurant new lagoon. The restaurant is spacious and elegant. We were seated in a private room for tables of 3, which was cozy and comfortable. The PA system was clear and loud, so we could hear the speeches and music well. The food was tasty. The portions were generous and the presentation was beautiful. The staff were courteous and efficient, and they made sure we had everything we needed.
A bright and spanking new atmosphere. Service was top notched(no doubt in part due to my host regular patronage status). Steamed live soon hock looked a tad overcook when it arrived on our table. But I was glad to be wrong as the flesh was fresh and tender and flaky and remained so even after a good 20 minutes. Green dragon vegetable was slightly fiberous. Roast duck was of huge serving even though we only ordered half a bird.
My personal favourite would be the thousand island deep fried prawn- the prawn is served with some fried crackers and it’s so good! The glutinous rice wrapped in leaf was not bad too- love how it is being divided into single individual portion and not too heavy.
